From the outside draw Basilis spears to the lead and sets a slick tempo. YUKINO CROWN (2) resumes today after filling a minor placing at his last appearance at this track over 1800m on January 24. Best form comes here at this distance. Expect him to play a major role. LORD CHEVALIER (4) has a moderate winning strike-rate but impressed when returning from a break last time at this track, finishing fourth and only 1.5 lengths from the winner at the end of 1900m after being in contention on the turn. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. DIGNITE (6) returns after a spell of three-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. One to consider. INDIGO (1) is back from a break of ten weeks. Raced below par at his only appearance last prep when ninth over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt. Settles back early but winds up late. Solid claims on best form.
