Plenty of runners but a dawdling affair is on the cards. TUDAYA (3) did little first-up in a race won by a stablemate but he started hard in the market off a nice Terang jumpout. Better for that outing, quickly gets to 1625m and can improve. KAWA (6) finished out of the money two starts back then she settled well back and was beaten 4.5 lengths when eighth over 1600m at Echuca two-and-a-half weeks ago. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. KING ALLA (7) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 2.25 lengths over 1400m at Horsham. Deep into the prep now, but her best is good enough to make her a key player here. TRIPLE OH (8) was beaten 5 lengths into sixth in a 1600m contest at Ararat three weeks ago, but well-placed to turn things around. INSPIRED CHOICE (11) finished 9 lengths away in ninth last time out over 1300m at Wangaratta when fresh from a spell. Steps up in distance today, which seems suitable. SUGGESTED PLAY: Tudaya each way
