Plenty of pressure expected over the mile. PERCOLATE (4) led into the straight last start over 1600m at Hawkesbury on heavy going but could not sustain the pressure when sixth in C1 class. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Lone win came on a heavy track and expected to go close. THE BENTLEY (1) didn't do a bad job when second last start over 1600m at Moree. That followed a win at Brewarrina the start prior. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is capable of running a bold race. SHOW US YA TEXTS (9) is yet to break through after twelve starts. Placed two back then last time out was fourth over 1605m at Tuncurry. Should be parked just off the good speed. Finds a nice race and can measure up. GODWITS (5) proved too strong two runs ago but was not as effective last time out when eighth over 1600m at Parkes. Worth thought in this easier race. SUGGESTED PLAY: Percolate can assert her class.
