Anticipating good pressure with many of these at the races for the first time. FLYHALF (5) will be peaking third up from a spell, and she returned to form with a solid third at Ellerslie over 1200m a fortnight ago. She is knocking on the door and is overdue for her first win. PLATINUM NORWAY (6) battled on gamely last start over 1360m for fifth when peaking on his run late. Her prior second at Waipukurau reads well for this race, and dropping back 160m could make all the difference this time. Each way. CONGOLIAN (3) makes his race debut after catching the eye at the trials, and he is in good hands. He has the pole position, and he profiles as one to keep very safe in betting. YALDY TIME (4) has won both of his public trials, including his last start at Foxton when scoring by 7 lengths. He will be ready to rumble and is sure to attract plenty of attention. SUGGESTED PLAY: Congolian and Yaldy Time are both on debut, and have to be respected.
