Good pace from Bright And Brazen, Perilla and Forward Motion. Good race but hard to fault DE VLUGGE (7). Has scored at her last three starts, most recently by 0.9 lengths over 1200m at this track. That continued the very strong form this campaign, with five wins and two minor placings from nine runs. Sure to go well again. SOVEREIGN GRANT (8) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing third and only 1.75 lengths from the winner at the end of 1400m. Has started four times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Best figures stack up and expected to take catching. BRIGHT AND BRAZEN (6) started at $7 last time on the back of a win at Turffontein Inside two starts ago but was below her best, finishing sixth over 1000m at Turffontein Standside. Likely improver with strong prospects. JULIET TANGO (1) returned from a spell last start with a strong win by 2.25 lengths over 1800m at Vaal. Open to plenty of improvement and cannot be ruled out.
