GOING: S(5)

DAVE HOSKIN CARRIERS 2040m

Track: SOFT 5     True

Solid tempo with Zenazed, Exit Left and Mckhan the ones to roll forward. EXIT LEFT (1) has matured this year, and he arrives in winning form after scoring well at Waverley over 1650m 3 weeks ago, continuing a solid campaign with 2 wins from 4 starts. He will relish stepping up to a middle distance for the first time, and he can win again. GOLD CURRENCY (7) resumed with a strong second at Arawa Park over 1560m, settling handy throughout and sticking on bravely to be just over a length from the winner. He has won his only start over this trip, and he can go one better. DANJURO (6) was not far away when fourth over 2200m at Otaki 2 weeks ago, and he drops 100m in distance here. He is peaking third up, and he can figure in the top 3 again. MCKHAN (2) likes to run along on the pace, and with the aid of a 2kg claim, he should be very competitive second up from a spell. COTTON ROCA (9) has been racing well, and the extra 440m here will be no problem for her. Each way. SUGGESTED PLAY: Gold Currency each way.
