Maximilien and Ultra World should tussle for the early lead in the small field. MAXIMILIEN (5) built on a nice third two starts back at this track with a win as favourite over 1400m at this track three weeks ago, getting home by 8 lengths. Tatsuya Nakajima scored on him last time and retains the mount. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. WEATHERCOCK (3) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 9 lengths away in eighth over 1900m at Kochi. Has the class to take this out. ULTRA WORLD (6) turned in a fine effort to score by 2 lengths at today's track and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. Grade 2 placegetter SUPER FEATHER (4) has filled a minor placing at his last three outings, most recently when third over 1500m at this track. Well placed and will be thereabouts again.
