Ran on well last start to score over 1200m at this track. Sure to prove hard to beat. SHINING EARTH (4) showed early speed from a good draw and led until entering the straight last start, eventually holding on for third over 1200m at this track. Could take catching. CROWN BUD (10) returned to winning ways last time out, running away with an impressive 3-length win over 1200m at this track. Among the leading chances again despite the extra weight. KIRARI MAILLARD (2) missed the frame last start over 1000m at this track, finishing sixth. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
