Meets some better types this time but this is well within her grasp. SHONAN HOWL (3) turned in a much better effort last start when beaten only a neck into second at Kyoto over 2400m. Extra trip a plus and is a definite winning chance. LA FAMILIA (2) resumes after a break of three months. Trying to repeat his debut win over 2400m at Hanshin to kick off last prep. Expect him to pose a serious challenge. ASTER BUGIE (7) finished third last time over 2200m at Kyoto, beaten 2 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Likely improver with top-three claims again.
