Pace looks strong with Almairac pressing on from an outside draw, joining Spirit Ridge. The $200,000 Group 3 Tattersall's Cup. Group 3 winner KNIGHT'S CHOICE (7) has been right there in all three runs this preparation and may have found his race here. Placed two from three around this circuit and draws perfectly in gate two for Dolan. Looks the one to beat in this contest. YOUNG WERTHER (9) doesn't win out of turn but has placed over this track and trip and Shinn reunites. Can feature in the finish. SERPENTINE (4) failed last time but the form prior was good enough to play a role in the outcome in this. Worth another chance. Melbourne Cup winner VOW AND DECLARE (1) has shown glimpses of form this time in and looks one for the exotics. SPIRIT RIDGE (5) will be rock-hard fit and can trouble the judge on best form.
