Solid tempo anticipated with Waganse heading them off. NOT REGRET (3) went to the paddock after scoring at his last appearance four months ago over 1600m at this track. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. RUCHBAH (2) settled well back last start and never threatened when 7 lengths from the winner in seventh over 1500m at Urawa. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. HIGHESTEND (8) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race when he made late ground and finished 5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 2000m at Ohi. Has raced four times here and has never missed the frame. Akira Harita gets the best out of this seven-year-old gelding. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. WAGANSE (1) returns after a spell of three-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1600m at Kawasaki. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
