The pace looks strong from the outset. HARMONY JOEY (4) clung on to finish second last start over 1400m at Urawa, beaten half a length as favourite. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. EXPLORE (7) is still a maiden after 14 starts. Managed to fill a minor placing at this track two starts back before finishing fourth over 1800m at this track last start. Cannot be left out of calculations. BEQUEST (1) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when 5 lengths away in third over 1500m at Urawa. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is right in contention. STRAIGHT DANDY (6) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1800m at this track, beaten just 1.5 lengths. Suitably placed so he can figure again.
