DAYTONA MODE (7) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 11 starts. Was again denied last start when he found one better over 1400m at Kyoto. Placed to advantage so expect a big run. KEY WAVE (9) ran fourth at his latest appearance over 1200m at Kyoto, clocking in 1.75 lengths from the winner. Deserves serious consideration.
