SENTIMENTAL BELLE (8) just missed in heavy going first-up, but made amends as favourite most recently at Bunbury 17 days ago. This is tougher, but the booking of CJP suggests she's ready to fire third-up and she maps for a better run this time. Can bring up back-to-back wins. MY HIDDEN UNIVERSE (4) has resumed in grand style, posting back-to-back wins by big spaces in the process. He has the speed to get across from the wide alley and while this is a rise in grade, he still has plenty of upside. Can win again. VILLAGE GIRL (10) has been right on the cusp all campaign, going under by 0.3L most recently over this course and distance. She's now 486 days without a win, but her hoof is on the till and she rates a winning hope in this event. Must be included. HIDDEN RUBY (7) has been impressive her past couple in Kalgoorlie and isn't without a hope if she can bring that form to town. ANOTHER STRIKE (1) was good from the back last start and has claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sentimental Belle can win again.
