FALCON VEGA (2) was beaten just a neck last start and landed his first top-three finish in the process over today's course and distance. Heading in the right direction and expected to be in the finish again. WI FI (1) showed good early speed when resuming last start over today's journey at this track before finishing third, beaten 1.3 lengths. Nicely placed to go a couple better. NIGHT RAINBOW (6) is a six-start maiden who finished fifth at his most recent outing over 1200m at this track after he got a long way back in the run. Expected to feature in the finish this time. ESAGRAMMA (9) was beaten 9 lengths into seventh over 1400m at Kanazawa a month ago. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
