Tiff's Lad has the pace to lead in what is likely to be a moderate tempo. Open race. OCTOBER ROX (10) was thereabouts over 1400m at Ascot two back then was fourth at Northam last time. This is easier and goes best here. First try at the mile but is drawn for a soft trail and gets a chance to find winning form. SPACE ACADEMY (3)has strung together a host of seconds, the latest just four days ago when beaten just over a length at Kalgoorlie on Sunday. Quick back-up but looks well placed this line-up. ADMIRED (1) resumes from a break but is a fresh-up winner and very well placed in this class. Won only try course and distance and would go close if presented on song. MY MONSTER (12) wasn't beaten far fresh and plummets in the weights after the claim. Have to include. SIDE SHOW (9) wound up late last time and is among the leading chances. SUGGESTED PLAY: October Rox gets chance.
