Moderate tempo with Desi Emperor leading the way and a few others keeping in touch. SOCIABLE (3) talented gelding who looks set for a big campaign. Chased hard when fourth to Iron Man in C4 class over 1200m at Gosford last December. Fitted with the two trials and can finish over the top of these with the solid tempo. MYRIAD (5) snagged back from the outside gate first-up before launching late with a sound sixth over 1100m at Wyong. Expected to go on with it this prep and he gets map favours here. LEAVE NO DOUBT (2) returns from a lengthy break and now in the Garry Frazer yard. Raced in stronger company in Victoria last year and looks to be on song for this with the 800m trial placing here. Each-way. STARROS (4) up in class off a long layoff with a battling seventh over this trip in the Town Plate Bm87 at Wellington. Can race closer from the barrier and the 1.5kg claim will help his cause. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sociable can start the campaign in winning style.
