Genuine tempo with Arouse leading the way. AROUSE (8) has had three runs back from a spell and went down fighting over the same trip to this last start. The engagement of Iguchi Yuki is noteworthy. In the right race and finally gets a chance to get the major prize. SUSSAN FIRST (2) improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. SUSANNA (4) lines up on the back of a fifth over 1400m at this track. Can give this a shake. NIHONPIRO DOVER (1) has been out of the winner's list for a while, last start finishing fifth at this track over 1580m after being up on the pace until straightening. Best figures measure up and in the mix.
