Baishu should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep her honest. WILL RAUSU (10) resumed over 1700m at Monbetsu last start and was too good for her rivals, scoring by 2 lengths. Won at her only second-up appearance and looms as the one to beat again. T'S SERAPH (4) returned to winning form as favourite last start, scoring by 2.5 lengths over today's journey at Nagoya. Has a sound record at this journey with a win and one minor placing. Rates highly and can measure up. MISTY RISE (8) is racing well, scoring two back at Kawasaki before finishing a neck from the winner in second last time over 1800m at Saga. Should be poised just off the lead. One of the main contenders. BUCHI A KONE (5) improved last start but found a couple better over 1700m at this track. Key runner.
