Not So Dubious, Sneaky Bid and Commedia to take up the running at a strong tempo. COMMEDIA (7) progressed nicely third-up at Ballina when beaten a lip. Has been kept on the fresh side with 30 days between runs, kept up to the mark with a Doomben trial. Has enough speed to offset the wide alley. Bold showing anticipated. POETIC ANGEL (10) only warmed late when sent out as favourite first-up at Grafton. From a smart stable and willing to give another chance with that run under her belt. HEY KALUMBA (2) is a colt by Cool Aza Beel on debut for the Campbell camp. Showed promising signs at the lead-up trial win and is drawn a dream. Can make a bright start. Stablemate ADEQUATE EZE (1) returns. Was rock-solid in his debut prep, just finding one better in all three starts. Expect him to make his presence felt fresh. MULLED (3) was too bad to be true on a wet deck at Ballina. Kept fresh and is one to keep safe in the minors. SUGGESTED PLAY: Slight lean to Commedia.
