Genuine tempo with Ripicola leading the way. LINDY MAY (3) makes her poly track debut after some really good efforts this year on the turf here and on other tracks. A wide gate is against her, but with any sort of cover early on, she should be among the hardest to beat. STUDENT OF WAR (1) has been more consistent lately, and he is knocking on the door for his first win. He is trained here, so the track surface won't be an issue for him, and he should go close to picking up his first win here. DUBONNET ROUGE (4) was only beaten by a nose here 2 weeks ago, and if she can handle the pace from a tricky gate here, then she can go one better in an even contest. BIG EXIT (5) finished ninth in a similar field here a fortnight ago, and she will be sharper this time with less space between her runs. Stick with her for all top 4 combos. RUSSIAN BLUES (8) finished close up in third place in the same race as the third pick, and she will be at her peak fitness now. Each-way claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: Student Of War each-way.
