GOING: G(4)

Corio Waste Management 4YO+ Maiden Plate 1100m

Track: SOFT 5   Clear (Max: 19)   Rail: True Entire Circuit. (Pent: 5.41)

Tricky one to map with a number of debutants but over this trip there is good speed anticipated. Tricky little race to open but the 'safe' play is GATHERS NO STONE (4) who is racing well and looking near to a maiden win. He's had a few chances but stuck on well over this trip at Sale last time out when third and should get every chance tracking the speed from the inside gate. ARTBEAT (2) is the one to watch, a gelding by Flying Artie on debut for the Clinton McDonald yard. He's jumped out well enough and the stable should be respected. NOT GUILTY (6) is a 4yo entire by Shamus Award on debut for the Brisbourne yard who won a recent Wangaratta trial. He draws nicely and can figure prominently. TAMATOA (8) ran well on debut at Seymour when getting into fourth and any improvement off that should see him right amongst the finish. SECOND TIME (9) is a mare by Epaulette on debut who can run well for the Cumani yard. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Gathers No Stone.
