Not a great deal of speed on paper so it may be left to one of the first starters to roll to the front. BEST TERMS (1) looks the one to beat, narrowly. He's placed in both runs back from a spell, battling on for third when heavily supported at Ballarat last start in a good maiden. This is another good race but the rise to 1600m should suit ideally and he should get a good run on speed. KIWI JENNI (12) was also well backed last start on resumption at Geelong when working home for third, beaten three lengths at $1.45. She can improve quickly off that, just not sure how far back she gets from the draw. Wary of MELEYS (13) who is knocking on the door and tried hard here despite being beaten four lengths last start by Himalayan, who was heavily backed and ran well in town last week. She'll go close. RAINSUN (6) next best on debut for the Mark Walker yard ahead of SIGN UP (8), a So You Think gelding for Grahame Begg. SUGGESTED PLAY: Best Terms on top.
