Pace only fair with Suzuno Hamaya rolling to the lead ahead of Esprit Richard and Univers. SUZUNO HAMAYA (5) last appeared when he got the cash over 1400m at this track on December 30. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. ESPRIT RICHARD (6) lines up for the first time since May 2. Looking to emulate his win at this track to kick off the last campaign. Has found the right race. UNIVERS (4) ran a bold race over this journey last start, racing on the pace and sticking on strongly to finish a nose away in second at this track. Likely improver with strong prospects. QUEEN'S MACARON (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1600m at this track, beaten 1.2 lengths into fourth. Can figure in the finish.
