MR OREO (11) improved winning his Maiden this track/trip and then worked home solidly at the venue, missing by 2L in a 55. Keeps the handy 2kg claim and is a decent chance to bounce. ELLIS BEACH (3) didn't have much luck beaten 1.8L over 1300m at Townsville in stronger than this. Presents fitter again and may sit close today. Has claims. WAR COUNCIL (9) also presents third-up and is on a 7-day backup. Assess his chances on the near miss first up this track, but will need a Cormack special from an outside gate. INNOVATES (8) was slow off and made solid inroads, beaten 2.5L here second-up over the trip. Has the inside gate today and will get his chance. LINE 'EM UP LOUI (4) resumes and is a former Hong Kong galloper in the Massingham yard. Has been off the scene for 452 days, but has trialled well, and Wiggins is engaged. It's an ask, but has the ability, and the betting will be key. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Mr Oreo.
