Strong tempo expected with Reggio Calabria, Sansanee and Niccy's Affair prominent. REGGIO CALABRIA (1) has been narrowly beaten in his past two, but drops back to 1000m today where he bolted in three starts back. The claim of Webster is a big tick and he should be close to the speed from a good draw. Can bounce back to winning ways today. BRAVE APACHE (3) is better than he showed last time out when out to 1230m again at this track. He's been freshened since that run 56 days ago and his form suggests he runs well on the fresh side. Needs a touch of luck from the draw but has the quality to return to winning ways. BRAZEN BID (4) has improved nicely in his past couple, leading the field and just missing by 1.2L last time out. Fiore takes the ride today and he can put himself on the speed from a good draw. Not to be discounted. NICCY'S AFFAIR (8) was very good fresh and she has to be included. KAMAKAZI SHOOTER (2) can bounce back to his best as he drops back in trip today and with Faithfull hopping on board. SUGGESTED PLAY: Reggio Calabria can return to winning ways.
