Tricky, given the lack of early speed. STELLAR LEGEND (5) just missed at Townsville and then got even closer here over 1250m. Impressed after an awkward start, and the extra metres are sure to suit. Ready to win. KAMMERZELL HOUSE (6) did a good job last start over 1400m at Townsville, beaten only 1.75 lengths after leading for home. Fitter again and is nicely placed to break through. A gap then to the Rowe-trained pair PEACHTREE FLYER (1) and IMPALER (3). They both present third-up and have scope for improvement. The former finally draws an inside barrier and can stick on better today. The latter improved here second-up but then dropped right out at Townsville (vet cleared). They both need to find plenty to win. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stellar Legend to win.
