Genuine tempo with Romantic Miss leading the way. YOLO (1) is close to a win. Has finished in the placings at Ballarat at his last two, with the latest switching back to this distance. Keep the 4kg claim, and that brings him right into it. ROMANTIC MISS (4) resumes and was beaten just 2L over 1200m in the G3 Blue Sapphire Stakes at Caulfield at her most recent appearance. Before that, she was a big Maiden winner over 1000m at Terang, leading throughout. Tough to beat if presented forward. FROSE (3) was an impressive 56 winner last time over 1000m at Terang, leading throughout. That stacks right up, and she's sure to feature again. HAY JOE (2) may need the outing, but he's an honest galloper who will appreciate the drop back to easier company. Winning rider Nugent is reunited. SUGGESTED PLAY: Yolo with the race fitness.
