A solid tempo on the cards with No Woman No Cry taking charge. CRUSADER VOYAGE (4) well-bred gelding unlucky not to shed his Maiden tag last prep. Drifted back early first-up in the small field with a plugging third over 1300m at Kembla Grange. Ready for the mile and expect to see him stalking the speed. Expected to go close. THE BIG BLUE (2) returned solid closing splits first-up with a fast finishing third from a wide draw over 1400m at Newcastle. Zac Lloyd retains the ride and can finish much closer despite drawing out. MOORDYUP (11) finished second over the mile at Newcastle two runs back, then covered ground in the run with a disappointing seventh over 1600m at Newcastle. Gets a better set-up for this and stays in the mix. DANCE WITH DESTINY (9) savaged the line first-up with a tidy fourth over 1300m at this track. Expected to have come on strongly with that run and well placed with Stapleford's claim. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 4,2,11,9.
