Without a great deal of early pace evident Blue Bandit may lead the way over Dihheri. DIHHERI (7) resumes after a promising debut prep and looks to have come back in excellent order, tightening up nicely through two sharp jump-outs. J Melham sticks from the latest hit-out and she should be ready to hit the ground running. AKICITA (1) was a barnstorming winner fresh at Seymour but has left himself with too much to do in his past two. With a smaller field engaged, he should settle closer, and the drop back to 1200m gives him the platform to pounce on them late. ATTAIN (2) is knocking on the door and owns a strong record at this track and trip. He's right up to the task on best form but simply needs to shoulder the weight. BLUE BANDIT (6) is the likely leader and should have taken good improvement from his fresh run here last week. Will prove tough to run down if left alone. TRAK CHILLER (4) is impossible to knock as she chases four straight. This is tougher but it's hard to imagine her not being competitive again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dihheri to win.
