A solid tempo anticipated with Bakuretsu Maho and Sun Uikyo ahead of Smart Vivid and Shinzen Shine. SUN UIKYO (12) resumes from a spell of four-and-a-half months and is having his first outing under new trainer Ikkoo Tanaka. Finished 12th at Chukyo Dirt over 1400m at the opening run last time in work. Sure to prove tough to beat. BAKURETSU MAHO (5) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing third last time out over 800m at Himeji. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is capable of a big performance. SMART VIVID (2) saluted at Himeji two runs ago. Fair effort last time out when prominent at the corner before finishing fifth over 800m at Himeji, beaten 2.25 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot make amends. AKAZA (10) fought on for third last start over 800m at Himeji, beaten 1.5 lengths to add to some fine recent form. Likely improver with strong prospects.
