A few sit handy but there won't be a great deal of early pressure. MANI HERO (4) has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Major player. DATE HIRYU (8) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished third here two starts back then scored by half a length as favourite last time out over 1500m at this track. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is up to the task. LESAILES DE LAPAIX (2) is back after a break of eight months. At the last run before the layoff he finished eighth over 1400m at Tokyo. Rates highly on best figures and should be right in this. ORENO NAOMI (3) has missed the frame at her last couple of outings, the latest when a disappointing eighth over 1200m at Kyoto Dirt. Don't underestimate in this much easier assignment.
