Pod Halo and Minack Theatre to set a keen tempo, joined by Awesome Sunrise pushing on. POD HALO (5) did a great job to score by half a length over this course and distance last start in a far better run. Looks well placed so expect another big run. A SHIN HOYUPU (7) is going well and is knocking on the door, last time out finishing second over 1230m at this track and only 2.5 lengths from the winner. S Kawahara who has three wins when partnering stays on. Among the leading chances. MINACK THEATRE (6) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 4.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1400m at this track. Nicely placed to take this out. KADOSAN GAMBARU (11) did a great job to score by a neck over today's course and distance last start in a much improved run. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he deserves plenty of thought.
