Solid tempo with Mega Bonus leading from Jolly Companion and Golden Friendship. FORTUNE WHISKEY (1) sat handy but couldn't get the job done when caught late in the race, beaten 1.3L last time out. He's knocking on the door of another win and the form out of last start has been franked. Needs a touch of luck from the draw but can land the knockout blow this time. GOOD PROSPECT (10) got too fat back last start at this track and trip after a good effort two back. Suspect he'll sit much closer from a better draw today and now Atzeni takes the ride. Can score a maiden win. VULCANUS (11) got back to form last start when 0.8L off the winner at this track and trip. This looks to shape similarly for De Melo off the inside barrier and if he can run up to his recent form, he can be right in the finish again. BEAUTY THUNDER (3) missed last start after a close finish two starts back. Now gets Purton in the saddle from a nice alley and can go close.
