Strong tempo assured with Larius Lacus, Axis Power and Princess Charmer rolling to the front. PINETTI (3) moved up well over this distance on the turf last time, before getting outrun late. He is a progressive type and gets the services of Gavin Lerena. If taking to the polytrack, he should go one better. MISS KANSAS (2) should have finished much closer to the winner last time. Her debut effort when third over this distance at Scottsville was eye- catching. She has scope and if suited to the surface, she would not be a shock winner. GRAND FORCE (1) is better than his last start run would suggest as he was reported to be not striding out. He finished second in his penultimate run over this distance. If finding the form of that race, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest. THIRD WINTER (4) is a two-year-old filly by What A Winter out of Third Runway set to debut for the Glen Kotzen stable. Fresh-up can place.
