Solid tempo anticipated with Eloped and Zambezi Khan pressing forward with Perfect Gold not far away. Tough race. QUEEN OF TUSCANY (2) broke a run of second placings with a solid victory at Pakenham, strong late when dropping back to 1400m. Her form at a mile is mixed but the run two back to Chakado (won again since) is good for this. INFINITY IMPERIAL (7) was just fair fresh behind Suances but should take plenty of fitness improvement from that. Stays at a mile when potentially wanting further but certainly has the ability. THE AUTUMN BELLE (10) made a bit of ground from the rear first up off a long break at Bendigo. Should improve from that and the rise in trip will suit. PINK CHANDON (11) is an each way chance.
