Scipio to take charge ahead of Hanabusa at a solid tempo. SCIPIO (4) was sent out at $19.80 last time but ran above expectations and won over 1400m at this track. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Best form puts him right in this. PACE SETTING (7) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when 11th, beaten 8 lengths, over 1400m at Hanshin Dirt after he settled well back. Has a solid record at the third run in and is ready to show what he can do. NAMURA TATA (8) hasn't raced since finishing sixth over 1500m at Himeji on February 26 and has since switched stables. Good fresh performer with a win and one minor placings from four runs. One of the primary contenders. MYSTERY BOX (6) ran below expectations last start, finishing fifth and beaten 5.5 lengths at this track over 1700m. Yet to miss the placings in four starts over this course and distance. Well placed to make amends.
