Without an obvious leader, it may be left to Retourne, Weekend Warrior and Ruling Goddess to control the tempo. SAINT MICHAEL (4) is a winner here before and seems as though he has been waiting for the 1600m. He'll do no work at all in the run and as long as he gets clear at the right time, has to be right there at the end. RETOURNE (1) has the first outing since arriving from Victoria. A lot of his efforts were quite respectable but just has the one win. OBI (3) has had plenty of starts but his only go here was a victory. Will be getting a fair way back from the draw. JAMROCK (8) took no real part last time. Back to the turf should help. SEAFARING (15) is coming back in ground for this. Form has been OK. SUGGESTED PLAY: Really think Saint Michael has to be the bet from the gate with Retourne the danger.
