Cuban Lord is likely to roll to the lead and set a decent tempo. SMILING ASSASSIN (1) has to be very tough to beat dropping back from tougher benchmark races and coming from in town. It was a pretty decent run at Morphettville. Is up in weight and that run was last week. FLEURIEU FLIPPER (2) has form which reads poorly but looks to be crying out for more ground. BACK ME UP BENNY (5) put two nice seconds together and then just found Saturday grade too much. He has to contend. KIRKLISTON BLU (7) has been around the mark in recent outings. Will stick on. CARASHAN CHLOE (4) failed in a stronger race but it came off two wins. SUGGESTED PLAY: Smiling Assassin has to run well if backing up strongly. Back Me Up Benny also can bounce back.
