Reasonable tempo with Nishiken Bob probably leading but a few others should keep him honest. NISHIKEN BOB (5) raced on the speed and kept going to score by 3 lengths last time out over 1700m at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. BELLWOOD GRASS (3) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at this track over 1800m after being in contention all the way. Well placed this line-up and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. KEIAI PURPLE (4) sat on the pace and stuck on well to score by 3 lengths at today's track and trip when resuming from a break last time out. Likely to be there at the finish again. BLITZ FANG (6) was beaten 16 lengths into 15th over 2100m at Tokyo Dirt a month ago. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
