SHIGERUTSUKIMIZAKE (12) finished among the placegetters last start when second at Kasamatsu over 1400m, beaten a head. Hasn't been far away this time in work with five minor placings from nine starts and expected to feature. GRASS MIRROR (11) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1700m at this track. Tackling a more suitable race so he can play a big role. ASTRO POWER (8) started at $4.80 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth at Kasamatsu over 1400m. Going up a level this time but he deserves another chance. OILMAN (4) was seventh over 1700m at this track two weeks ago. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
