DENIED (1) has raced her way through the grades since making the move from Victoria and has won 4 of her last 5 starts, including a brave all-the-way win here 3 weeks ago when clinging on to victory by a nose. She will have to be at her best again from a wide gate here but with the same weight to carry, she can take the next step. FIGHTING IDOL (7) capped off some good country-class form with a tidy win at Kilcoy last time out. He is still on the up with his fitness and won't be out of place at this level. Justin P Stanley sticks with him and so do we. SMOKIN' TOFF (14) ran out of condition when resuming here 3 weeks ago and finished near the rear of the field. She strips fitter and is capable of figuring in the finish this time. BRASCO (15) built steadily to a deserved win here 4 weeks ago when arriving late from near last to get up and score comfortably by nearly a length. He will get back again from a wide gate and drops 3 kilos in weight. He can win again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Brasco each-way.
