Mel's Street Above is expected to lead at a slick tempo. MATERIAL MADAM (4) peaks off a 1.1 lengths defeat at Hobart over 1200m. Jumps from a low gate and is till on an upward path. Rates highly in this lineup, and maps for the run of the race. RUSHONOVA (6) races forward and deserved her big heavily bet maiden win over 1100m at the track. Led and folded up over 1200m, following, and it's probably best to forgive that. Draws low and the top hoop sticks. Lightly raced, and she's worth another chance. WEDNESDAY'S BOSS (10) settled well back and didn't get into it here over 1200m this grade. She gives away starts but has run some decent races this preparation and can run into it late. SWINGING IT (12) tries hard and has been given 47 days off. Has trialled well since and is best on the fresh side. TURK BOY (1) switches back to a short sprint on a quick backup. Worth a look.
