Genuine tempo with New Sovereign leading the way. ROHESIA (8) is racing well for this and gets in very light against the older horses. She got home well in a slowly run race last time having chased some good horses prior at Flemington. 1400m looks fine off that, 53kg from an inside gate should see intent and her very hard to hold out. EM SIXTY (1) was below his best fresh at Sandown Hillside in a BM78 but had been in fine form last time in and can improve now. MR BLUNT (3) is another that was well off his best fresh, his first run away from the synthetic tracks. He could improve quickly with that run under the belt. A DIVA (4) resumed with a tidy win at Cranbourne over 1300m and has started building a very handy record. She can improve again and make it 2/2 this time in. RUSSIAN CHOICE (9) is off a let up having made great strides in her initial campaign. She draws perfectly and will take some beating with natural improvement. SUGGESTED PLAY: Rohesia to win.
