Small field but expecting a genuine tempo with plenty of pace engaged. SPLICETHEMAINBRACE (1) was beaten just a nose last start when second in a small field over 1600m at this track on a soft track. Superb strike-rate with 11 wins from 18 starts overall and a top record here. Unbeaten in two runs this course and distance. Racing well and expected to go close again. NCHANTING CHOICE (2) finished third two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by a nose over 1600m at this track. Finds a suitable race and can make it back-to-back successes. AVERNIAN GODDESS (3) was far from disgraced when third last start over 1600m at this track, beaten 1.4 lengths. That followed a win at Fairview All Weather the start prior. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. FAMILY POWER (6) comes here off a freshen-up of seven weeks after finishing fourth at her latest appearance over 1400m at Fairview All Weather. Should be poised just off the lead. Can feature in the finish.
