Small field that lacks a pacemaker so a modest tempo is likely. BONJOY (1) made it back-to-back wins when scoring in the Grandstand Cup over 1500m here last time out. The 0.5L victory was very impressive from the back and the small field shouldn't hurt her chances with it likely to be a sit-and-sprint. She'll handle the wet deck and she can continue her winning run. ESSENTRIC NATURE (4) gets up to the mile for the first time after never really getting into the race second-up in the Grandstand Cup. He does bounce back third-up however and Fiore remains in the saddle. Wet track is no issue and he can turn his form right around. Expect to see ELITE MISSILE (3) be in the mix drawing an insider barrier for the first time in a while today. It wouldn't surprise to see him ahead of his main rivals in the run and that will go a long way to see him coming out on top. SENSESSIONAL (2) was better last start and won't be far away. OLY'S CHOICE (5) rounds out the field. SUGGESTED PLAY: Expecting Bonjoy to bring up the hat-trick.
