Plenty of pace likely from Optimal Moments, Aerostern Bro and Fire Island battling for the lead from Call Me Mojo. Tricky and keep a close eye on the market. WAVE DANCER (11) peaks and is in a top Sydney yard. Was well supported at Hawkesbury last time over 1500m, but after stalking the lead, didn't finish it off. Impressed hitting the line hard to place over 1200m at Goulburn prior, and 20% stable striker Molly Fitzgerald rides first time. Likely to be ridden more quietly, and she will be tough to beat. Stablemate STRIKE A POSE (9) resumed at Hawkesbury and surprised the market, beaten 2.3L. Strips fitter and jumps from a low barrier. He finds easier grade and should be right in it. BEAUTY BIRDIE (12) was only beaten 2.2L over this trip at Nowra on debut. She's sure to keep improving and has claims. CALL ME MOJO (2) resumes with Collett booked and brings compelling numbers from metro maidens. The niggle is the 463 days away, but he's had three recent trials and the winkers on for the first time.
