Moderate pace with Big Time Charlie rolling to the lead and setting the tempo. TAYTAY BAY (2) progressed nicely last time, finishing just one length from the winner in a decent contest over 1600m at Albury. He's ready for the step up to the middle distance, and Boudvillain replaces the apprentice. Maps well and can go one better. BOTTAS (8) found a couple too good over this trip on the same day in a CL2. Impressed winning a CL1 over a mile at Wagga prior and draws inside today. Worth another chance. DOC MARCH (3) deserved his win this track/trip in a CL1 and then dropped back to 1500m in a CL3 at Albury and missed the frame. This suits much better, and the 3kg claim brings him into it. PARTY IT DOWN (7) has weight relief and will run the trip right out. She's well in the mix as well. KING EDWARD (1) has some gear changes and switches back from a staying tip. Deserves consideration on his middle-distance effort at Goulburn two back. SUGGESTED PLAY: Taytay Bay appeals most.
