GOING: G(4)

Ladbrokes Racing Extras in Multi Handicap 1200m

Track: Good 4   Rain (Max: 20)   Rail: Out 7m Entire Circuit. (Pent: 5.34)

Lim's Bighorn and Brandjam should set a strong gallop. CAPPER THIRTYNINE (1) has a big weight to carry here, but he has the 62kg for a reason and it can be considered a positive that the stable has elected not to claim. Has been freshened since the most recent start, with a soft Flemington jumpout in between, and while it's been over a year between wins, most races he's contested have been of higher quality than this. QUICKAZ (9) is the most intriguing runner in the race, stepping up from 3YO fillies grade last prep, but the fourth placing to Point Barrow looks good form for this and she gets weight off all rivals. YAMASHITA'S GOLD (8) returned to winning form last start and he's drawn to go on with it. FOXENBERG (4) probably needs to be forgiven the terrible last-start effort given he'd raced well prior and draws to get the lead without doing much work. LIM'S BIGHORN (3) is yet to find his best this prep but will be at peak fitness now and is better suited back to 1200m. SUGGESTED PLAY: Capper Thirtynine each-way.
