In a race without an obvious leader, either Strike First or Downtherabbithole can roll them along. STRIKE FIRST (2) has tested the patience, placing at seven of 13 starts without winning, but hasn't struck as many races as winnable as this. Was solid first-up at 1400m then even though beaten four lengths last start, it was in a much tougher race than this and at 1600m, which should have him ready to go staying at the same trip. LA DIVINA (7) steps up to 1600m for the first time and, up in trip, she gets the chance to settle closer from a low draw. PASIFAE (8) wasn't really a factor resuming, beaten five lengths, but might have more improvement to come than some key rivals here and looks suited getting out to 1600m being a daughter of Castelvecchio. AUTUMN DIAMONDS (3) resumes at 1600m, which is a tough ask, but the daughter of The Autumn Sun hinted that a good run fresh is on the cards with a recent Cranbourne jumpout win. SACRE BLEU (1) will be at peak fitness after three runs back and just needs a bit of luck from the outside alley. SUGGESTED PLAY: Strike First to win.
